| APPLICATIONS |
| The
Hi-Velocity System has many available options for your
Heating, Cooling, and IAQ
needs. |
|
Heating |
Hot Water: Hi-Velocity Systems fancoil makes use of a hot
water coil within the cabinet to heat the air. In most instances, the fancoil is
used in conjunction with a boiler or dual purpose hot water heater, and is piped as
such to use the hot water generated by these appliances.
Heat Pumps: Heat pumps can be used with the Hi-Velocity
fancoil. This would mean the absence of the hot water coil and heat would be provided
through an RM (refrigerant module) or WM (water module) located on
the return side of the fancoil.
Electric: An electric coil can be used as a heat source with the
Hi-Velocity Systems fancoil, and can be used in place of the hot water coil.
The electric coil is typically used as a back up heat source on heat pump systems,
can be designed to be used as a primary heat source. |

Cooling |
Refrigerant: For refrigerant cooling, Hi-Velocity Systems
fancoil would be used with an RM (refrigerant module) coil that is located
on the return side of the fancoil. This coil would then be piped to an outdoor condenser.
Chilled Water: For chilled water cooling, the Hi-Velocity Systems
fancoil would be used with a WM (water module) coil that is located on the
return side of the fancoil. This coil would then be piped to a chiller or other chilled
water source.
Heat Pump: There are two different kinds of heat pumps commonly used
with Hi-Velocity Systems fancoil. Geothermal and air source. An air source heat
pump would use a RM (refrigerant module) located on the return side of the unit
for cooling and heating. A Geothermal heat pump would use either an RM (refrigerant
module) or a WM (water module) located on the return side of the unit for
heating and cooling. |

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) |
|
Filtration: Most filters
on the market today can be matched to the units, including media
filters, electronic filters and HEPA filters. Now available, our
one-size fits-all
Hi-Velocity Air Purification System
offers home and business owners unsurpassed
Indoor Air Quality.
Ventilation: For ventilation, Hi-Velocity Systems fancoil may
have a fresh air duct piped from the outside to the return air ductwork. This will ensure
a constant flow of fresh air being introduced to the system when the fan is running. The
fancoil can also be used in conjunction with an air to air exchanger (HRV) with
the supply from the HRV piped into the return of the fancoil to provide the best in indoor
air quality.
Humidification: The Hi-Velocity Systems fancoil can accommodate a
variety of humidifiers. The most common humidifier being a bypass style. These humidifiers
can be mounted on the return of the fancoil and a bypass of 2" flex to be installed as a
bypass from the main duct supply. |
